Sugaturu, Sidlaghatta : ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಸುಗಟೂರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತ ನೀರು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣಾ ತೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಟರ್‌ಫಿಲ್ಟರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ರೋಟರಿ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ರೋಟರಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ, ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಚ್.ಎಸ್.ರುದ್ರೇಶಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಸುಗಟೂರು ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲದೇ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಕೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಗೂ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಚ್.ಎಸ್.ರುದ್ರೇಶಮೂರ್ತಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರೋಟರಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವೆಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ರೊ.ವಿ.ಆರ್.ರಮೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸುಗಟೂರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ.ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಚೀಮಂಗಲ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ಯೋಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ಗ್ರೈಂಡರ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು. ಸವಲತ್ತುಗಳ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎಸ್.ಮಹೇಶ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಸಿಯೂಟ ಯೋಜನೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆಂಜನೇಯ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಎಂ.ಗಿರಿಜಾಂಬ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಬಿ.ನಾಗರಾಜು, ರಾಜಶೇಖರಾಚಾರಿ, ರೋಟರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
Rotary Vijayapur Distributes Free Water Tanks and Filters to Government Schools
Sugaturu, Sidlaghatta : Rotary Vijayapur, a local chapter of the international service organization, has distributed free water collection tanks and water filters to students of the Sugaturu Government Senior Primary School in the Sidlaghatta taluk. The initiative was led by Rotary President HS Rudreshamurthy, who presented the benefits to the students during the International Women’s Day celebration held at the Rotary School Hall in Vijayapura town of Devanahalli taluk.
In addition to Sugathuru School, tanks were also distributed to the Kommasandra Government Higher Primary School in Devanahalli Taluk. Speaking at the event, Rudreshamurthy emphasized Rotary’s commitment to providing infrastructure and empowerment for government schools. He also announced that RVR Ramesh of Rotary Bangalore West had donated drinking water tanks and books worth approximately ten thousand rupees to the Sugatoor Government School library.
Furthermore, Rudreshamurthy shared that a grinder would be given to the Cheemangala Government High School in the taluk for a heating project. The distribution of benefits was attended by Rotary secretary S. Mahesh, district BSI Yojana education officer Anjaneya, school teacher M. Girijamba, teachers B. Nagaraju, Rajasekharachari, and other office bearers of the Rotary organization.
Rotary’s efforts to provide essential amenities and resources to underprivileged schools demonstrate the organization’s commitment to uplifting communities and promoting education. The event serves as a shining example of how service organizations can work collaboratively to address the needs of the community and improve the quality of life for its residents.
