Doddatekahalli, Sidlaghatta : ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವುದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಓದಿನ ಹವ್ಯಾಸ ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುವ ಹವ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಬರೀ ಶಾಲೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕವಲ್ಲ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಓದಬೇಕಾದ ಅನೇಕ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳಿವೆ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಿದ್ರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬುದ್ದಿ ಚುರುಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನವಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನದ ವಿ.ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡತೇಕಹಳ್ಳಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಶಾರದಾ ಪೂಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ನವಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರುವ ಕಿಂಡರ್ ಕಥಾ ಮಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸ್ಸೆಸ್ಸೆಲ್ಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಓದಲೇಬೇಕಾದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿವೆ. ಕಥೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಪರಿಸರ, ಪ್ರಾಣಿ, ಪಕ್ಷಿ, ಸಾಧಕರ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಹೊಂದಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ ಓದುವ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಓದುವ ಹವ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ರೂಢಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನವಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಕಾಶನ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರುವ ಕಿಂಡರ್ ಕಥಾ ಮಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆ, ಗಣಿತ ಕಲಿತ ಗಿಳಿ, ಅಮ್ಮನ ಊರು, ಕಡಲೆಬೀಜ ಕಳ್ಳ, ಅಜ್ಜನಿಗೊಂದು ದೋಣಿ, ಏಣಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ, ಯಾವ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಪೈಪು, ಮುನ್ನಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆ, ಹಳದಿ ಟೋಪಿಯ ಹಕ್ಕಿ, ಜೈಭೀಮ್, ಬದುಕೊಂದು ಪಾಠ, ಜರ್ನಿ ವಿದ್ ಗೌರಿ, ಗುಬ್ಬಿಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಹುಡ್ಗನ ಹುಡ್ಗಿಯ, ಸರ್ವಾಂತರ್ಯಾಮಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೂ ನನ್ನ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕು, ಟ್ರಿಣ್ ಟ್ರಿಣ್ ಹಲೋ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ, ದಿನಚರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ದನಕರು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಓದಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು, ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ತಿಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Encourage Children to Read Books
Doddatekahalli, Sidlaghatta : At a recent Sharada Puja program held on Friday at Doddathekahalli Government High School in Sidlaghatta taluk, V. Lokesh of Navakarnataka Publication emphasized the importance of developing the habit of reading in children. He asserted that reading not only sharpens the mind but also provides numerous other benefits, making it the responsibility of both parents and teachers to encourage this habit in children.
As part of this effort, Lokesh donated eighteen children’s books from the Kinder Katha series published by Navakarnataka Publication to the students of Essex. These books, he noted, are among the best that children should read, and they cover a range of topics, including science, environment, animals, birds, and achievers, which can both educate and motivate children. Above all, he emphasized the joy of reading and the importance of developing a habit of reading in children.
Lokesh specifically recommended the Kinder story series books to the children, encouraging them to read and share their opinions and impressions.
Several dignitaries were present at the event, including SDMC President TN Ramesh, Headmaster D. Santosh Kumar, Teachers Shankarappa, and Sadananda.
