Sidlaghatta : ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಲುಕಿರುವ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಕೃಷಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ರೀಲರುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ರೈತ ಸಂಘದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಭಕ್ತರಹಳ್ಳಿ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿನ ರೈತ ಸಂಘದ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೈತ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ರೈತ ಸಂಘದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಭಕ್ತರಹಳ್ಳಿ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ ಅವರು ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಕೃಷಿಕರು, ರೀಲರುಗಳು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಯಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಕೆಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಬೇಕು, ಎಚ್‌ಎನ್ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಕೆಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತುಂಬ ಭದ್ರ ನದಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಈ ಬಯಲು ಸೀಮೆ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದರು.
ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಣ್ಣು ಹಂಪಲು ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಬೇಕು. ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ನೂಲಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೆಜಿಗೆ 4,500 ರೂ ದರ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಎಂಬಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದರು.
ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಹುಳುಗಳ ಬೆಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚು ಕೈ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು 7 ರಿಂದ 9 ದಿನಗಳ ಒಳಗೆ ಹಣ್ಣಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ಹುಳುಗಳು 15 ದಿನಗಳಾದರೂ ಹಣ್ಣಾಗದೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಅಂತಹ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಮಾರಕವಾದ ಕೃಷಿ , ಎಪಿಎಂಸಿ ಕಾಯಿದೆಯನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೂ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಗಾಲ, ಅತಿವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಎದುರಾದಾಗ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ರೈತರ ಜನ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈಗಲಾದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ರೈತರ ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಬೇಕು, ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪರಿಹಾರವಾದರೂ ಏನೆಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೋದಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ರೀಲರುಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅನ್ಸರ್ ಖಾನ್, ರೈತ ಸಂಘದ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ತಾದೂರು ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
Farmers Demand Government Action to Save Sericulture Industry
Sidlaghatta : Sericulture farmers and reelers in sidlaghatta are facing financial distress, according to Bhaktarahalli Byregowda, State General Secretary of the Farmers Union. Byregowda is demanding that Prime Minister Modi address the situation and take action to help those affected.
During a press conference at the Farmers’ Association office in Shidlaghatta city, Byregowda explained the challenges faced by sericulture farmers and reelers. He called for both the central and state governments to focus more on developing this part of the plains, specifically the HN Valley KC Valley along with Krishna river and Tumbabhadra river water should be channeled to this area. Additionally, he suggested opening a grape market as more grapes are growing in this part.
Byregowda also called for the government to fix the price of silk yarn at Rs 4,500 per kg and purchase it through the KSMB to stabilize the market. He further urged the government to provide compensation for cases where silkworm crops are not ripening within the expected timeframe, which has become increasingly common in recent days.
In addition, Byregowda demanded that the central government withdraw the APMC Act, which he believes is harmful to farmers, and the state government should follow suit. He criticized Modi for not visiting the state during times of drought and heavy rains and failing to address the problems faced by farmers. Byregowda called on Modi to publicly address the farmers’ concerns and provide solutions during his visits to the state, especially during election season.
The press conference was attended by Ansar Khan, President of Realtors Association, and Tadur Manjunath, Taluk President of Farmers Association. Byregowda’s demands reflect the growing frustration among farmers and reelers in taluk who have been struggling to make ends meet amid rising costs and decreasing yields.
